JSTRA Logo

The design of the logo on the cover incorporates images of the world, a ship and the sea against the letters JSTRA (Japan Ship Technology Research Association). This logo represents the mission of the association in areas such as cooperating with international organizations, making contributions to maritime industries worldwide, conducting investigations and research on shipbuilding technology and conserving the marine environment.
This logo was chosen in a contest from among the works submitted by applicants within the Association.
